Corbè is a company located in the Lazio region, specializing in products made from the corbezzolo fruit. This project aimed to develop a modern visual identity and packaging that revitalizes the often-overlooked corbezzolo fruit and highlights its various uses, all while educating customers about this remarkable plant.
Main challenge
Process
I developed a brief based on a market analysis and insights gathered from a conversation with the owner of a small Corbezzolo farm.
I conducted research on the history and traditions surrounding the corbezzolo, as well as an exploration of visual communication. This phase concluded with the creation of a moodboard and the analysis and organization of the information gathered about the corbezzolo.
I began by analyzing the moodboard and the information collected in the previous step. From there, I developed a cohesive design system that includes a logo, color palette, typography, and illustrations derived from the plant's texture.
This phase began with selecting the dieline. My goal was to maximize the space available to share the story of corbezzolo and its benefits. To achieve this, I chose a foldable dieline that opens up when the top is lifted. I then proceeded to sketch and brainstorm ideas directly on the printed dieline. After numerous iterations, I finalized the design showcased in the various images.
