O-Gusto

Packaging design

O-Gusto, a driving coffee case brand, looks for a striking, upmarket overhaul for its coffe pods. The objective: a new and lively see over five variations, whereas keeping up brand cohesion. Unmistakably highlighting the O-Gusto symbol, premium wraps up like embossing include esteem. Clear data pecking order organizes item subtle elements viably.

Main challenge

The challenge with this project has been finding that sweet spot between keeping things classy and infusing some fun into the blend.

Process

Brief creation

After having received the request, I've arranged a video-call with O-Gusto's team and proceeded with an Interview. In the interview I've gatered all the information that was needed to create a complete brief.

Research phase

I've proceeded with a market research and store positioning research. In this phase I've created a research file that was shared with O-gusto's team.

Design phase

Since the client provided the Dieline, I proceeded with the design phase, which comprises three substeps. Firstly, I generated ideas, aligning them with both the brief and my research. Next, I refined the concepts that best suited O-gusto's market. Following this, I shared the refined concept with the client, incorporating their feedback and making necessary adjustments.

Print ready files creation

During this phase, it's important to consider which colors to use – Pantone or CMYK, in relation to the printer that will be used. Afterwards I've created the files ready to be handled to the chosen packaging factory.
